The American twins qualified for the prestigious season-ending tournament for the 15th consecutive year - and 16th time overall - on Friday. The 39 year olds became the sixth doubles team to qualify, joining Lukasz Kubot/Marcelo Melo, defending champions Henri Kontinen/John Peers, 2015 winners Jean-Julien Rojer/Horia Tecau, Jamie Murray/Bruno Soares and Roland Garros champions Ryan Harrison/Michael Venus in the 2017 field. The top eight doubles teams in the Emirates ATP Doubles Race To London will qualify.

The Bryans will be making their 14th appearance at the tournament, to be held 12-19 November at The O2. The twins won event in 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2014. They have fallen in the semi-finals the past two years in London.

The Bryans, a consistent force on the ATP World Tour for more than a decade, have kept up their world-class play in 2017. The team has won two titles this season (Atlanta and Eastbourne), their 113th and 114th team doubles crowns. They also reached the Australian Open final (l. to Kontinen/Peers) and the semi-finals at the US Open and at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments in Rome and Miami.
