The Spaniard advanced to the US Open semi-finals for a second time (also 2017) and rose nine places to No. 18 in the FedEx ATP Rankings. Back in the Top 20 for the first time since 11 March 2019 (at No. 20), Carreno Busta remains eight spots off his career-high of No. 10 (11 September 2017).

No. 14 Denis Shapovalov, +3
The Canadian battled through to his first Grand Slam championship quarter-final at the US Open, which included a comeback victory against Taylor Fritz in he third round. Shapovalov rises three positions to No. 14, just one place off his career-high attained on 13 January 2020

No. 39 Miomir Kecmanovic, +8 (Career-High)
The Serbian broke into the Top 40 for the first time after capturing his first ATP Tour title at the Generali Open in Kitzbuhel (d. Hanfmann). Kecmanovic started his run with a three-set victory over Kei Nishikori in the first round. Read Report

The 22-year-old became the youngest American to reach the US Open fourth round since Donald Young in 2011 and rose 16 places to No. 65 in the FedEx ATP Rankings.
