The Australian has risen to a career-high No. 15 in the FedEx ATP Rankings after he captured his fifth ATP Tour title at the Viking International Eastbourne (d. Sonego) on Saturday. The former World No. 11 jumped six places to No. 54 following a run to the Mallorca Championships final (l. to Medvedev). The 33-year-old American beat NOVENTI OPEN titlist Ugo Humbert in the second round and overcame World No. 10 Roberto Bautista Agut en route to his 20th tour-level final (10-10 overall). No. 71 Soonwoo Kwon, +6
The South Korean lost in the first round of qualifying at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne, but made the most of his lucky loser chance to advance to his first ATP Tour semi-final (l. to De Minaur). The 23-year-old is now two spots away from his career-high of No. 69 on 2 March 2020.
