Garin currently leads the ATP Stats Under Pressure LEADERBOARD, powered by Infosys Nia Data, for the past 52 weeks with a 275.4 rating, mainly due to his 100 per cent win rate in deciding sets. Garin is also ranked sixth best on tour in Break Points Converted (43.4%), sixth best in Tie-Breaks Won (66.7%), and 16th best at Break Points Saved (65.3%).

He then played 12 ATP Challenger Tour events before finally cracking a tour-level main draw at Wimbledon, where he lost in four sets in the opening round to France's Adrian Mannarino.

Garin competed in 19 Challengers in 2018, building his confidence and belief. He cracked the Top 100 of the ATP Rankings in October 2018, after going on a 15-match win streak in winning three Challengers to finish the year.

Garin was ranked No. 92 on 25 February 2019, just nine weeks ago. His outstanding performance in three-set matches has powered him to three ATP Tour finals, with two victories. His current ATP Ranking of No. 33 feels like a stepping stone towards the Top 20 and beyond.
