Hall Of Fame Open: All You Need To Know
The Hall of Fame Open is the only professional tournament played on grass in North America. The first U.S. National Lawn Tennis Championship, which evolved into the US Open, was first held in Newport, Rhode Island, in 1881 on the now legendary grass courts at the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum.
Top American John Isner will look to win a record fourth Newport title in 2019, following triumphs in 2011-12 and '17. Defending champion Steve Johnson and 2016 champion Ivo Karlovic also return.
Here's all you need to know about the Newport tennis tournament: what is the schedule, where to watch, who has won and more.
