A Protected Ranking can be used to enter provided the player’s Protected Ranking is valid through the entry deadline for which he is eligible.
Final player qualifications are based on ATP Rankings at 13 Nov. A player from a country that qualifies at the first entry deadline who commits to play the event, but who is overtaken by a countryman in the ATP Rankings and slips out of playing contention, may withdraw from the team at the time of the second entry deadline.
