Alexander Zverev celebrated his US Open victory on Monday with a series of television and social media appearances.
The two-time major champion began his day with a visit to ABC News, where he conducted an interview with news anchor Diane Macedo on the set of ABC News Live.
After a brief stay in a green room, Zverev caught up with actress Salma Hayek, who had attended this year's US Open.

Zverev then joined Live with Kelly and Mark, the popular talk show hosted by Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

Zverev spoke to the hosts about the funny moment when the German did not realise he had won the match, the importance of winning the Roland Garros trophy earlier this year and plenty more.

Throughout the day, Zverev carried his trophy, the 26th tour-level crown of his career. The 29-year-old joined Boris Becker as the only German men to claim multiple Grand Slam singles titles.

Sergei Bubka and Mischa Zverev accompanied the champion throughout the day.

On the way out of ABC, Zverev met Doug Robb, the lead vocalist of Hoobastank.

The No. 2 player in the PIF ATP Rankings took time for his fans throughout the day.

Zverev also stopped by Bleacher Report and House of Highlights to bring fans closer to his accomplishment. Stay tuned for those clips to learn the food he wanted to eat after his victory and his all-time NBA starting five.
