Last year it was announced that centre court at Queen's Club would be renamed Andy Murray Arena. The former No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings will be there for the court's unveiling.
The Lawn Tennis Association shared on Tuesday that Murray will be at Queen's Club on 9 June — the first day of the venue's new WTA 500 event — when the court is officially inaugurated in his name.
The Scot won the HSBC Championships singles title five times, most recently in 2016. He also claimed the doubles trophy in 2019 alongside Feliciano Lopez.
Murray first competed in the main draw of the tournament in 2005 as an 18-year-old. The former World No. 1 played it for the last time last season before retiring at the Paris Olympics.
