Felix Auger-Aliassime has added former World No. 3 Ivan Ljubicic to his coaching team, the Canadian announced on social media Friday.
The move comes after Auger-Aliassime ended his 10-year partnership with Frederic Fontang in July. The 26-year-old, currently No. 5 in the PIF ATP Rankings, will now work with Ljubicic, who enjoyed a distinguished playing career before coaching Roger Federer from 2016 until the Swiss legend’s retirement in 2022.
“Excited to start a new chapter with Ivan,” Auger-Aliassime wrote on Instagram on Friday. “Let’s get to work.”
Auger-Aliassime has compiled a 35-17 record in 2026, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index. He lifted his ninth tour-level title in Montpellier in February and climbed to a career-high No. 4 in the PIF ATP Rankings in June.
Next on the Canadian’s schedule is the ATP Masters 1000 event in Shanghai, where he will continue his bid to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals for the third time. Auger-Aliassime currently sits 15th in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin.
