Felix Auger-Aliassime has qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals for the second time.

The Canadian earned his place in the season-finale field at the end of a dramatic final week of the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin. Lorenzo Musetti needed to win the Athens title to pass Auger-Aliassime and make his Turin debut, but the Italian fell one match short, losing to Novak Djokovic in the final.

Auger-Aliassime reached the championship match at the Rolex Paris Masters, the last ATP Masters 1000 event of the season, to move into a qualifying position. The Canadian has won 19 of his past 23 matches entering the Nitto ATP Finals, which he will compete in for the second time (also 2022).

The 25-year-old has lifted three trophies this season, emerging victorious in Adelaide, Montpellier and Brussels. He surged into qualifying contention by making his second major semi-final at the US Open.

During his run to the last four in New York, the Canadian defeated two fellow Nitto ATP Finals competitors: Alexander Zverev and Alex de Minaur. He backed that performance by reaching the Shanghai quarter-finals and making a Masters 1000 final for the second consecutive season.

Auger-Aliassime will play in Bjorn Borg Group in Turin alongside defending champion Jannik Sinner, two-time event winner Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton. The eighth seed will take on Sinner Monday evening at Inalpi Arena.
