Felix Auger-Aliassime has withdrawn from the Internazionali BNL d'Italia due to a lower back injury.

The 24-year-old Canadian was due to play Thiago Seyboth Wild on Saturday at the clay ATP Masters 1000 in Rome. Instead, Auger-Aliassime’s place in the draw will be taken by lucky loser Hugo Dellien, who will take on Seyboth Wild in the fourth match of the day on Court Pietrangeli.

The No. 27 in the PIF ATP Rankings, Auger-Aliassime has struggled for form since he reached the Dubai final in February. He is 17-10 for the year, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, after losing six of his past seven tour-level matches.

Despite those recent struggles, Auger-Aliassime remains one of only two players to have lifted multiple ATP Tour titles in 2025 following his triumphs in Adelaide and Montpellier. The other is World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz.
