The ATP Challenger Tour 2024 season kicks off 1 January and the globetrotting circuit is set to hit five continents across the first three weeks of the season: Europe, Australia, Asia, South America and North America.
The opening week is headlined by the Workday Canberra International, a 125 event that is also hosting the WTA Tour that same week. Nine Top 100 players are among the entrants, including former World No. 7 David Goffin and top seed Dominik Koepfer. Not far from Australia, the island of New Caledonia will host an ATP Challenger Tour 100 event featuring a plethora of French players including Richard Gasquet, Benoit Paire and 21-year-old Arthur Cazaux.
Thailand and Portugal will welcome world-class tennis for the first two weeks, with events in Nonthaburi and Oeiras, respectively. Buenos Aires, Argentina joins them on the calendar for week two.
The Indian Wells Tennis Garden, host site of the BNP Paribas Open, launches the Southern California Open 1 and 2 in weeks three and four. It will be the first time the ATP Challenger Tour visits ‘Tennis Paradise’ since 2020.
Among other countries hosting in January are Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Spain and Uruguay.
