Luke Johnson and Jan Zielinski captured their first title as a team on Tuesday at the Chengdu Open, where they defeated Robert Galloway and Andre Goransson 7-6(7), 7-5.
Johnson and Zielinski arrived at the ATP 250 event on a seven-match losing streak but turned the tables in style. They battled through two Match Tie-breaks to reach the semi-finals and then were flawless in their final two matches to rule in Chengdu.
In the title match, the Brit-Pole team saved two set points in the first-set tie-break and then gained the crucial break of the second set in the 11th game to seal victory in one hour and 32 minutes.
Cabral/Tracy rule in Hangzhou
At the AITO Hangzhou Open, Francisco Cabral and JJ Tracy capped their perfect week with a 7-5, 6-4 victory against Sander Arends and David Pel in the title match on Tuesday.
Cabral and Tracy did not drop a set en route to their first crown together in what was their sixth tournament as a team. The Portuguese-American pair reached the third round at the US Open earlier this month and built on that run in Hangzhou.
Cabral has now won seven tour-level doubles title, including two this year, after lifting the trophy in Brisbane with Lucas Miedler. Tracy is a three-time champion at this level, having also triumphed in Marrakech with Robert Cash in 2026.
