
The seventh ATP Masters 1000 event of the season will see the world's best players compete at the Cincinnati Open, where defending champion Jannik Sinner, No. 2 in the PIF ATP Rankings Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic will be among those in action.
Here’s what you need to know ahead of the US tournament:
The Masters 1000 event will be held from 7-18 August. Founded in 1899, the hard-court tournament will take place at the Lindner Family Tennis Centre. The tournament director is Bob Moran.
Sinner, Alcaraz, Zverev, Fritz, Djokovic, Lorenzo Musetti and Holger Rune are among the Cincinnati field.
The Cincinnati Open draw will be made at a date & time yet to be confirmed.
Qualifying: Tuesday, 5 August – Wednesday, 6 August at 10:30 a.m. (EDT) and 11 a.m.
Main Draw: Thursday, 7 August – Wednesday, 13 August at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.; Thursday, 14 – Sunday, 17 August at 3:00pm
Doubles Final: Sunday, 17 August not before 6 p.m.
Singles Final: Monday, 18 August at 3 p.m.

Jannik Sinner won the 2024 Cincinnati Open singles title with a 7-6(4), 6-2 victory against home favourite Frances Tiafoe in the championship match (Read & Watch). Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic lifted the doubles trophy in Cincinnati by defeating Americans Mackenzie McDonald and Alex Michelsen 6-2, 6-4 in the final (Read & Watch).
