The 39-year-old’s dominance extends to the majors, where he has captured a record 10 Australian Open titles and four US Open crowns.
Federer ranks second with an 83.5 winning percentage and 71 hard-court titles. The Swiss great won his last-ever title on the surface in front of home fans in Basel in 2019 and lifted 11 of his 20 major trophies on hard courts. Federer also enjoyed memorable hard-court rivalries with fellow members of the ATP No. 1 Club, compiling an 11-9 Lexus ATP Head2Head advantage against Rafael Nadal, while trailing Djokovic 18-21.
Connors sits third after winning 83.1 per cent of his hard-court matches. The American collected 43 titles on the surface and won five of his eight major championships on hard courts, helping establish the standard during the early years of the Open Era.
Just behind Connors is Lendl, whose relentless baseline game yielded an 82.6 winning percentage and 31 hard-court titles. The Czech great finished one victory shy of 400 hard-court match wins, a testament to his remarkable consistency over two decades.
Among today's stars, World No. 1 Sinner is rapidly building a résumé that places him alongside the game's all-time hard-court greats. The Italian owns an 82 winning percentage on the surface and has already won 23 hard-court titles, including seven ATP Masters 1000 crowns, three major trophies and two Nitto ATP Finals titles.
Active players Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev have also found success on hard courts. Alcaraz, with a 78.3 winning percentage, is an 11-time champion on the surface and is the current defending champion at the Australian Open and US Open.
