Fritz, Djokovic to play US Open QF not before 8 p.m.

The US Open quarter-final between Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic will begin not before 8 p.m. following Marketa Vondrousova's withdrawal.

Vondrousova was scheduled to play Aryna Sabalenka at 7 p.m. in the first match of the evening session inside Arthur Ashe Stadium. Instead, Fritz and Djokovic will begin the session.

Djokovic takes a 10-0 Lexus ATP Head2Head series lead into the pair's clash. Fourth-seeded Fritz reached the final last year.
