Novak Djokovic will begin his quest for a record 25th Grand Slam title on Sunday, when he plays his first-round match at the US Open.
The former No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings will face Argentine Mariano Navone in the first evening-session match inside Arthur Ashe Stadium, at 7 p.m. EDT.
Djokovic arrives in Flushing Meadows with a 95-15 tournament record, highlighted by his title runs in 2011, 2014, 2018 and 2023. Last year, the Serbian reached the last four before losing to eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz.
The 39-year-old is set to compete for the first time since his second-round loss to Thiago Agustin Tirante in Cincinnati. Earlier this year, Djokovic advanced to the final at the Australian Open, the third round at Roland Garros and the semi-finals at Wimbledon.
