Americans Christian Harrison and Evan King continued their dream start to the season Saturday at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel presentado por HSBC in Acapulco, where they claimed their second title of the year.
Harrison and King, who three weeks ago triumphed as qualifiers in Dallas, matched that feat at the ATP 500 in Mexico, racing past fourth seeds Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul 6-4, 6-0 in a 56-minute final.
“Crazy amount of excitement," Harrison said. "It has been a great week, a crazy week, a long week. We came here last Thursday, had qualifying, with no expectations. To leave here with the trophy… I am pretty excited.”

Harrison and King have reached at least the final in two of their past three outings. They finished runner-up in Delray Beach.
“No secret, we have worked really hard for this," King said. "A lot of time on the road. A lot of travel, a lot of hard work goes into the success. We know each other pretty well. And our games match up well. We have very similar game styles. We just know what the other person can do and we just have a lot of confidence to play and enjoy competing.”
