Rune hired Becker, a former No. 1 player in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings who previously coached Novak Djokovic, in October. The Dane qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals for the first time and finished the year at World No. 8.
The 20-year-old has climbed as high as World No. 4 and won four ATP Tour titles, including an ATP Masters 1000 triumph at the 2022 Rolex Paris Masters.
