The European clay season intensified throughout April, with the ATP Tour’s biggest stars delivering a series of unforgettable moments. But which one deserves to be crowned Hot Shot of the Month presented by Yokohama?
Tomas Machac produced a wicked drop volley against Jannik Sinner in Monte-Carlo and, so confident in the execution, he turned away before the Italian could even reach the ball. Alexander Zverev then showcased quick reactions and creativity in Munich, pulling off a rare tweener volley during the third-set tie-break of his opening-round match.
In Madrid, Tommy Paul displayed his magic on the doubles court, sliding into an around-the-net winner that even left his partner Ethan Quinn impressed. Alexander Blockx also dazzled at the Caja Magica with a brilliant sliding drop shot en route to upsetting defending champion Casper Ruud.
