Patrick Kypson secured his second consecutive ATP Challenger Tour title on Sunday at the UAMS Health Little Rock Open.

The 25-year-old, who won the Bogota Challenger in mid-May, defeated wild card Michael Zheng 6-1, 1-6, 7-5 in a two-hour, 22-minute final. Kypson advanced through Little Rock qualifying en route to the title, extending his winning streak to 12 matches.

“It’s the first time in my career that I’ve won two tournaments back to back,” said Kypson. “I think that holds some sentimental value and just the way I won today, I really battled through. This one feels really good.”

“I think I served and returned well today,” said the 23-year-old Tseng. “I was able to control most of the rallies and that gave me confidence throughout the match. I feel good physically and I hope to maintain this level in the next tournaments. I was really happy to be here in Vicenza, the atmosphere is great.”
