Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool continued to strengthen their bid for a place at the Nitto ATP Finals by capturing their fourth title of the season Sunday at the Grand Prix Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes.
In a heavyweight final at the ATP 250 event in Lyon, top seeds Cash and Glasspool rallied past second seeds and home favourites Theo Arribage and Albano Olivetti 4-6, 6-3, 10-8. With their title run, the British duo strengthened its position in 10th in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings and moved to within just 175 points behind Orlando Luz and Rafael Matos, who currently occupy the eighth and final qualifying spot for the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals.
Cash and Glasspool have compiled a 36-19 record in 2026, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, with their four titles coming in Barcelona, Washington, Beijing and Lyon.
Despite their defeat, Arribage and Olivetti remain well placed in the race to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals for the first time, sitting seventh in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings.

Bhambri/Seggerman upset top seeds to win Almaty title
Yuki Bhambri and Ryan Seggerman made an immediate impact in their first tournament as a team at the Almaty Open, where they lifted the trophy Sunday to cap a dream debut at the ATP 250 event.
The fourth seeds battled past top seeds Lucas Miedler and Neil Oberleitner 7-6(3), 6-7(1), 10-2 in a tightly contested final. The triumph marks the fifth ATP Tour title for Bhambri and the second for Seggerman.
Miedler and Oberleitner were on an eight-match winning streak after claiming the title in Shanghai, where they became the first all-Austrian team to win an ATP Masters 1000 crown since the series began in 1990.
Frantzen/Galloway triumph in Brussels
Constantin Frantzen and Robert Galloway also won an ATP Tour title on their team debut at the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open. The German-American duo defeated fourth seeds Sadio Doumbia and Bart Stevens in the final, rallying to a 6-7(4), 6-4, 10-8 victory.
It is the second tour-level title for Frantzen, who triumphed in Chengdu last year with Robin Haase, and the third trophy for Galloway.
