Fans have eagerly awaited Rafael Nadal’s return and now they know exactly when they can watch him.
The former No. 1 in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings will play his first-round match at the BNP Paribas Open during the evening session on Thursday, 7 March.
The Spaniard is a three-time champion at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament and made the final in his most recent appearance two years ago. He owns a 59-11 record at the event.
Nadal made his season debut in Brisbane, where he beat Dominic Thiem and Jason Kubler before falling to Jordan Thompson, who has been one of the in-form players of 2024.
The main draw of the BNP Paribas Open begins on Wednesday, 6 March.
