ATP has announced that total profit-sharing payouts under OneVision have reached $49.2 million since the initiative launched in 2022, providing new income for players generated through the commercial success of the ATP Masters 1000 category.
A cornerstone of ATP’s OneVision strategic plan, profit-sharing aligns the financial interests of players and tournaments. Net profits, before income tax, generated at ATP Masters 1000 events above on-site base prize money are split equally between players and tournaments.
The 2025 profit-sharing payout of $12.1 million brings total player earnings through the initiative to $49.2 million over four seasons. The annual payout is allocated centrally by ATP to singles players according to the PIF ATP Rankings points earned at ATP Masters 1000 events during the season. Each event’s financial performance is confirmed through a three-stage independent audit, giving players a direct and verified share in the commercial success of the Tour’s premier events.
Player compensation across the category has grown on every front. In 2025, a total of $111.6 million was made available to players across the Masters 1000 category: $78.5 million in on-site prize money, $12.1 million in profit-sharing and a $21 million Bonus Pool. This represents an increase of 45 per cent from approximately $77 million in 2022.
On-site base prize money alone has risen from $53.6 million to $78.5 million over the period, reflecting Shanghai’s return to the calendar, the expansion of five ATP Masters 1000 events to 96-player, 12-day formats, and annual increases across the whole category.
Profit-sharing is one of several initiatives delivered through OneVision, ATP’s long-term strategy to strengthen the Tour’s economic model and create greater alignment between players and tournaments.
The expansion of several Masters 1000 events to 96-player draws has created more earning opportunities for players while supporting significant investment across the category. Madrid, Rome, Cincinnati, Shanghai and Paris are among the events that have invested in enhanced facilities in recent years, improving the player and fan experience while supporting the continued growth of the Tour.
