Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic clinched their first of the season together on Sunday at the HSBC Championships in London, where they moved past top seeds Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten 6-2, 6-4.
The fourth seeds did not drop a set en route to the title at the ATP 500 grass-court event and were dominant in the championship match, saving both break points they faced, according to the Infosys ATP Stats.
Arevalo and Pavic have now won eight titles together overall, having first teamed at the start of 2024. They were playing in their third final of the season and gained revenge on Heliovaara and Patten, who beat the Salvadoran-Croatian pair in the Doha championship match.
It is the second time Pavic has triumphed at The Queen’s Club, having won in 2022 with Nikola Mektic. Arevalo was playing in the final at the event for the first time.
Arevalo and Pavic are up one spot to fifth in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings. Heliovaara and Patten remain first and have triumphed at four tour-level events in 2026. Both teams will aim to compete at the Nitto ATP Finals in November in Turin.
Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan have won a record five trophies at the grass-court event in west London, while record five-time singles champion Andy Murray lifted the doubles trophy alongside Feliciano Lopez in 2019.
