Two ATP Masters 1000 champions are in the Internazionali BNL d'Italia qualifying draw, which was released Sunday in Rome.
Cameron Norrie, the 2021 Indian Wells champion, and Pablo Carreno Busta, the 2022 Montreal winner, will try to earn their way into the main draw at the final clay-court Masters 1000 event of the season. Both men have spent time inside the Top 10 of the PIF ATP Rankings.
The top seed in Rome qualifying is Belgian Raphael Collignon, who has never competed in a Masters 1000 main draw. The second seed is Kamil Majchrzak.
Other players to watch include rising Americans Ethan Quinn and Eliot Spizzirri, who are charging towards the world's Top 100. Quinn will face Dusan Lajovic, who made a clay-court Masters 1000 final in 2019 at Monte-Carlo.
The main draw for the Internazionali BNL d'Italia will be made Monday.
