Play has resumed at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome on Friday at 6:06 p.m. CEST after a one-hour, 59-minute rain delay.
Casper Ruud led Luciano Darderi 4-1 when the players were forced from Campo Centrale due to the wet conditions. Ruud is competing in his fourth semi-final in the Italian capital but is aiming to reach the final for the first time. Darderi is playing in his maiden ATP Masters 1000 semi-final.
The No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev are scheduled to take to court later on Friday in the second semi-final.
