Danish star Holger Rune will once again team with French coach Patrick Mouratoglou, the pair announced on social media Wednesday.
“Hello @pmouratoglou looking forward to new victories together with you and the team,” Rune posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Sometimes you must try a variety of things to find out what works for you and what does not. In the recent months I have learned a lot about what’s important for me. With Patrick I did some of my greatest triumphs and I believe he can help me achieving my goals.”

Rune and Mouratoglou have shared multiple stints together over the past two years. Notably, Mouratoglou helped Rune win his first ATP Masters 1000 title at the 2022 Rolex Paris Masters, where at 19 he became the first player since the start of the ATP Tour in 1990 to earn five Top-10 wins at an event other than the Nitto ATP Finals.
“I am excited to start a new collaboration with Holger Rune,” Mouratoglou wrote on Instagram. “We have known each other since he was 13 years old and I always believed in his potential. He has high goals and so do I for him. It is the start of a new adventure. See you guys in Acapulco, Indian Wells and Miami.”
