Former World No. 3 Dominic Thiem kick starts his clay-court season this week at the ATP Challenger Tour 75 event in Szekesfehevar, Hungary.
The 2020 US Open champion has competed in just two tour-level events this season and also represented his home country Austria in a Davis Cup World Group I playoff last month.
On Wednesday, the 30-year-old returns to action at the indoor clay Kiskut Open, where he faces Polish qualifier Daniel Michalski in the first round. The match begins Wednesday not before 8 a.m. Eastern Time / 1 p.m. Central European Time. Fans can tune into Challenger TV to watch all ATP Challenger Tour matches live and on demand at no cost.
The top seed Thiem is also entered in clay-court Challengers in Zadar, Croatia and Naples, Italy this month.
