Frances Tiafoe and coach Diego Moyano have split after partnering for nearly four months. The Argentine Moyano shared the news on social media and wished his best to the 26-year-old American.
“It’s time for a new chapter!” Moyano wrote on social media. “@bigfoe1998 and I have decided to part ways. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have coached such a talented player and even more [of a] better person. I have no doubt that you’ll continue to shine in your tennis career, and I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.
“Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your journey. Wishing you nothing but the best in all your future endeavours.”
Tiafoe, No. 23 in the PIF ATP Rankings, has tallied a 10-8 match record this season. His deepest run came last week when he was a finalist at the ATP 250 in Houston.
