Carlos Alcaraz is set to defend his title at the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships, where he will face competition from the likes of Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz, and Rafael Jodar.
Last year, Alcaraz captured the trophy on his debut at the ATP 500 event after he defeated Fritz in the championship match. Both players will be back in 2026, with former champion Shelton and #NextGenATP stars Jodar and Joao Fonseca also on the entry list.
Top-20 players Lorenzo Musetti, Brandon Nakashima, Jiri Lehecka and Casper Ruud also feature on the entry list.
