Stefanos Tsitsipas and Jerome Kym will go to sleep Wednesday evening knowing they are two games from reaching the EFG Swiss Open Gstaad quarter-finals.

Tsitsipas and Kym were tied at 6-4, 6-7(2), 5-5 in their second-round match when play was suspended due to darkness.

Tsitsipas has not faced a break point in the match, according to Infosys ATP Stats. The former No. 3 player in the PIF ATP Rankings is trying to earn consecutive wins for the first time since April in Madrid, where he reached the quarter-finals.

World No. 186 Kym, a wild card, made his first ATP Tour quarter-final last year in Gstaad and is trying to repeat the feat at the ATP 250 event. This is the pair's first Lexus ATP Head2Head meeting.

Tsitsipas and Kym will resume their showdown Thursday third on Roy Emerson Arena, not before 2 p.m. local time.
