
Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic are among the initial entrants into the US Open mixed doubles event, tournament organisers announced Tuesday.
The event, which this year be held on Tuesday and Wednesday of qualifying week (19-20 August), will feature 16 teams: the top eight teams with the best combined singles ranking and eight wild cards.
Sinner is entered with Emma Navarro, Alcaraz with Emma Raducanu and Djokovic with fellow Serbian Olga Danilovic.
Nine of the Top 10 players in both the PIF ATP Rankings and PIF WTA Rankings have entered. On the men's side, the initial entrants are Sinner, Alcaraz, Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Jack Draper, Lorenzo Musetti, Tommy Paul, Ben Shelton, Daniil Medvedev, Frances Tiafoe, Casper Ruud, Grigor Dimitrov, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Nick Kyrgios and Andrea Vavassori.

The entry window will close on 28 July at 12 p.m. ET.
The matches until the final will be best of three sets with sets to four games with no-ad scoring and tie-breaks at four-all. There will be a Match Tie-break to 10 points in lieu of a third set. The championship-winning team will earn $1 million. All matches will be played in one of the US Open's two biggest stadiums: Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium.
