The second year of the US Open’s revamped mixed doubles event is set to feature a star-studded field at the final Grand Slam tournament of the 2026 season.
Held on 25-26 August, the tournament will feature stars including Carlos Alcaraz (with Serena Williams), Novak Djokovic (with Aryna Sabalenka), Alexander Zverev (with Taylor Townsend) and Felix Auger-Aliassime (with Alexandra Eala).
Here’s everything you need to know about the mixed doubles event.
The mixed doubles event at the US Open takes place on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th August across Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium. The first and second rounds will be played on Tuesday, while the semi-finals and final take place on Wednesday.
The event will feature 16 teams: the top six teams with the best combined singles rankings, eight wild cards, and two from qualifying. Here is the lineup:

The matches will consist of best-of-three sets up to four games. Sudden-death Deuce will be played at 40/40 and a Match Tie-break to 10 points instead of a third set. In the final, sets will be played to six games instead of four, with no-ad scoring, tie-breaks at six-all and a Match Tie-break to 10 points in lieu of a third set.
