Who qualified for the US Open?

A day later than originally anticipated, US Open qualifying concluded Friday afternoon, with a host of players earning their places in the main draw in New York.

Among them were #NextGenATP stars Rei Sakamoto and Federico Cina, who battled through contrasting matches. The 20-year-old Sakamoto defeated countryman and former World No. 4 Kei Nishikori 6-4, 7-6(3) to reach his first US Open main draw.

Cina capped Friday’s qualifying action with a gutsy 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 victory over China’s Buyunchaokete. The 19-year-old Italian is seventh in the PIF ATP Live Next Gen Race, three spots ahead of Sakamoto, who is 10th.

Hugo Gaston, Dalibor Svrcina, Nishesh Basavareddy and Tristan Schoolkate also advanced Friday, while Grigor Dimitrov secured his place in the main draw Thursday when Otto Virtanen withdrew ahead of their clash. View the full list of US Open qualifiers below.
