The ATP today announced that Video Review technology will be introduced on every court at all nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments in 2025. Rollout will begin with the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells in March.
Chair Umpires will be able to review decisions including not-up calls, foul shots, touches, hindrances, scoring errors and possible default situations, bringing more accuracy to officiating.
Video Review debuted on the ATP Tour in 2018 at the Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF. It was first used at the Nitto ATP Finals in 2020.
This is the continuation of a groundbreaking year in the sport. For the first time ever, all tour-level events on all surfaces are featuring Live Electronic Line Calling, in continued efforts to deliver the most accurate officiating standards available for players and fans.
