The 2025 Wimbledon main-draw entry list is officially set, with qualifying underway at Roehampton to determine the final 16 spots in the men’s singles field.

When the original entry list was released ahead of the grass-court major, Nishesh Basavareddy, the No. 101 player in the PIF ATP Rankings at the time of the list's release, found himself as the last man out — just one spot shy of a place in the main draw. But in the weeks that followed, withdrawals reshaped the entry list, allowing nine additional players to gain direct entry, including four Americans.

Alongside #NextGenATP star Basavareddy, the 2023 quarter-finalist Christopher Eubanks, Brandon Holt and Ethan Quinn secured main-draw spots. The 2017 finalist Marin Cilic and former World No. 9 Fabio Fognini also benefitted, along with South Africa’s Lloyd Harris, who used a protected ranking of No. 108 to secure a spot.

It All Adds Up

Following these changes, Argentina’s Juan Manuel Cerundolo, No. 109 in the PIF ATP Rankings at the time of the entry list, found himself as the last man out. The Argentine lost in the first round of qualifying Monday to Luca Van Assche.

Notably absent from this year’s Wimbledon entry list are three Top 30 players: Casper Ruud, Arthur Fils and Sebastian Korda, all of whom withdrew due to injury.

Two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, seven-time winner Novak Djokovic and World No. 1 Jannik Sinner will lead the field at Wimbledon, which takes place 30 June-13 July. World No. 4 Jack Draper will lead British hopes. All eight wild cards have been given to British players.
