Alexander Zverev is locked into the semi-finals of the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.

The German topped The John Newcombe Group with a perfect 3-0 record, claiming wins against Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud and Carlos Alcaraz. Pursuing his third Nitto ATP Finals crown, Zverev will face American Taylor Fritz in the knockout stage Saturday. Zverev is yet to be broken this week and has won eight consecutive matches, starting with his title run in Paris.

Who will finish second in the Newcombe group and advance to the semi-finals? Here are the scenarios ahead of Friday evening's clash between Rublev and Ruud:

1) If C. RUUD defeats A. RUBLEV, then A. ZVEREV wins the group and C. RUUD qualifies 2nd.

2) If A. RUBLEV defeats C. RUUD in 2 sets, then A. ZVEREV wins the group and order of remaining players is determined by % of games won.

3) If A. RUBLEV defeats C. RUUD in 3 sets, then A. ZVEREV wins the group and C. RUUD qualifies 2nd.
