  • Philip was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Plano, Texas
  • He was the district and regional champion and state runner-up in Texas 5-A high school doubles (1991- 1992) at Plano East Sr. High
  • He played tennis and graduated from the University of Oklahoma (1992-1996)
  • He has been coaching on both the men and women's professional Tours since 1997. He has also been the Head Tennis Professional at the Lakes Tennis Academy in Frisco,Texas and the Director of Tennis at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club in McKinney, Texas
  • Philip enjoys playing flag football and basketball, and loves live music and sushi. He is very involved in his church and several local charities such as The Boys and Girls Club of Collin Country, Emily's Place, Helps International, and Club Corp Charity Classic
