He enjoys playing golf, loves the ocean and swimming. Helps grown tennis in Ecuador and is the sponsor of ECUAJUNIORS Tennis Championships.
  • He is married to Maria Elena Nunez and has 4 children, Maria Paula, Eric (former ATP player and now a National Coach for the USTA), Claudia and Sergio.
