Hungary's First ATP Tour Event
In 2017, Budapest replaced the former ATP 250 event in Bucharest, Romania. It marked the first time that Hungary hosted an ATP Tour tournament. France's Lucas Pouille won the inaugural edition of the clay-court event, with Marco Cecchinato of Italy lifting the trophy in 2018.
