Vallejo, who finished the 2025 season by lifting the trophy at the Guayaquil Challenger, has built on that form with victories in Itajai, Brazil and now Concepcion, where he overcame home favourite Alejandro Tabilo 6-2, 1-6, 6-1 in the Dove Men+Care Concepción final.

“I don’t think before a tournament you will think that you will win 10 matches. You always try to win the next one. It just kept going and I won 17 out of 18 sets here. I’m just really happy,” Rodesch said.
