When the stakes are highest, Carlos Alcaraz continues to rise to the occasion.
The Spaniard improved to 10-2 in 'Big Titles' finals on Sunday when he rallied past Lorenzo Musetti 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 for the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters trophy.

Alcaraz has thrived on the biggest stages, tallying a 6-1 record in ATP Masters 1000 finals and a 4-0 mark in major championship matches. His only two losses in 'Big Titles' finals came against Novak Djokovic — last year in the gold medal match at the Paris Olympics and in the 2023 Cincinnati final.

No other man has defeated Alcaraz with a trophy on the line on such a stage. The 21-year-old is now 18-5 in tour-level finals overall and has now earned at least one 'Big Title' — Grand Slam championships, trophies at the Nitto ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments and Olympic singles gold medals — in four consecutive seasons.
Of players born since 2000, Alcaraz leads the way with six Masters 1000 crowns. He has claimed them at four different events, also the first four Masters 1000 tournaments of the season: Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo and Madrid.
At just 21 years old, Alcaraz is tied for the 10th-most Masters 1000 titles in series history with Daniil Medvedev, another former No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings.
Djokovic owns a record 40 Masters 1000 titles, but the Serbian did not claim his sixth until he was 23 (2011 Indian Wells). Among active players, only Djokovic (40) and Alexander Zverev (7) own more Masters 1000 crowns.
