Alcaraz rose back above Alexander Zverev to No. 2 after he won Rome to become just the fifth man to triumph at all three clay-court ATP Masters 1000 events, joining Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Gustavo Kuerten and Marcelo Rios. The Spaniard has guaranteed the second seed spot at Roland Garros following his title run, in which he beat Jannik Sinner in the final to improve to 7-4 in the pair’s Lexus ATP Head2Head series.
No. 8 Lorenzo Musetti, +1 (Career High)
The Italian continued his red-hot form in Rome, where he reached the semi-finals. Musetti is 14-3 on clay in 2025, having also advanced to his first Masters 1000 final in Monte-Carlo and the semi-finals in Madrid. The 23-year-old defeated former Rome champions Daniil Medvedev and Zverev in the Italian capital.
No. 19 Jakub Mensik, +2 (Career High)
The 19-year-old Czech has climbed into the Top 20 for the first time following a fourth-round showing in Rome. Mensik captured his maiden tour-level title at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Miami in March.
No. 51 Alexander Bublik, + 25
Bublik is up 25 places after he won the title at the ATP Challenger 175 event in Turin. The 27-year-old defeated Buyunchaokete in the final to win his first clay title first clay title at Challenger level or above.
