The three champions from last week's clay-court ATP 250 tripleheader have all made strides in the latest edition of the PIF ATP Rankings.
Jenson Brooksby has enjoyed a mammoth jump after winning his maiden tour-level crown in Houston as the World No. 507, while Flavio Cobolli also lifted his first ATP Tour trophy in Bucharest. Luciano Darderi ensured it was a two-title Sunday for Italy with his victory in Marrakech.
ATPTour.com looks at the movers in the PIF ATP Rankings as of Monday, 7 April.
No. 172 Jenson Brooksby, +335
With his stylish championship-match run as a qualifier at the Fayez Sarofim & Co. U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship, Brooksby became the third-lowest-ranked titlist in ATP Tour history (since 1990). The former World No. 33 saved match point in three matches in Houston, including against third seed Alejandro Tabilo in the second round and top seed Tommy Paul in the semi-finals. After charging past Frances Tiafoe in the final, Brooksby has stormed 335 spots up the PIF ATP Rankings to No. 172. Read First-time Winner Spotlight.
No. 36 Flavio Cobolli, +9
Cobolli bounced back from an eight-match tour-level losing streak in style at the Tiriac Open presented by UniCredit Bank, where the Italian dropped just one set all week en route to his maiden ATP Tour crown. The 22-year-old needed seven championship points in Bucharest to see off Sebastian Baez in the final, but he sealed victory with a classy lob to claim the trophy. He has risen nine spots to World No. 36, just six places shy of his career high. Read First-time Winner Spotlight.
No. 48 Luciano Darderi, +9
Another Italian jumping nine spots after a title run is Luciano Darderi, who downed top seed Tallon Griekspoor in the Grand Prix Hassan II final. Like Cobolli, Darderi had endured a difficult start to 2025 and arrived in Marrakech with a 2-8 tour-level record for the year, but he showed few signs of nerves in closing out for his second ATP Tour trophy.
No. 66 Mattia Bellucci, +5 (Career High)
Bellucci continued his 2025 rise by reaching his second ATP Tour quarter-final in Marrakech. The 23-year-old Italian, who enjoyed a breakout semi-final run at ATP 500 level in February in Rotterdam, fell to Griekspoor in the last eight but has nonetheless risen to a career-high World No. 66.
No. 95 Vit Kopriva, +11 (Career High)
Kopriva has broken the Top 100 for the first time at the age of 27 after reaching his first ATP Tour quarter-final since 2021 in Marrakech. The Czech, who won an ATP Challenger Tour title in Naples in the last week of March, downed Borna Gojo and second seed Lorenzo Sonego in Morocco to seal the milestone.
