Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool continued their stellar grass-court season Friday at the Lexus Eastbourne Open, where they claimed their second consecutive ATP Tour title.

The British duo delivered a 6-4, 7-6(5) championship-match triumph against Ariel Behar and Joran Vliegen in windy conditions to lift its fourth trophy of the season. After reaching the final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and winning the ATP 500 on home soil at Queen’s Club last week, Cash and Glasspool improved to an 11-1 record on grass this year, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.

“[It’s been] a crazy three weeks for us, going three finals in a row,” said Cash. “Thanks to our team for putting in the hours. It’s been a tough shift but I’m glad we’ve been able to pick up some trophies, and this one’s a special one.”

It All Adds Up

After improving to 2-0 in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series with Behar and Vliegen, Cash and Glasspool are up to No. 3 in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings. They are aiming to make their team debut at the Nitto ATP Finals after teaming for the first time in Hangzhou last September.

“You guys coming out and being so supportive, it really feels like a home tournament,” added Glasspool. “It’s amazing to play in such a great atmosphere, we really do appreciate it.”
