Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are set to renew their rivalry in the 2025 Cincinnati Open final, which will take place Monday, 3 p.m. EDT/9 p.m. CEST.
Monday’s match will mark their fourth consecutive meeting in a tournament final. Sinner won their most recent encounter at Wimbledon, where the Italian defeated Alcaraz in four sets to lift the trophy. With the win, he improved to 5-8 in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series.
Sinner, the No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings, is on a 26-match winning streak on hard courts. The defending champion is aiming to win his fifth Masters 1000 title and 21st overall. Alcaraz, who holds a 53-6 record on the season according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, will be playing in his seventh consecutive and 29th tour-level final, and is chasing his first trophy in Cincinnati. Both players are locked in a tight contest for the ATP Year-End No. 1 presented by PIF honours.
