Flavio Cobolli and Jiri Lehecka are inching closer to their Top 10 debut.
Both players remain alive at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome and sit at No. 12 and No. 13 in the PIF ATP Live Rankings, respectively, standing within striking distance of a career milestone in the Eternal City.
Cobolli’s season highlight has been his ATP 500 triumph in Acapulco. The 23-year-old Italian has carried that momentum into the clay-court swing, reaching the final in Hamburg and making a quarter-final appearance in Madrid, which helped him ascend to a career-high No. 12. Cobolli is 440 points behind 10th-placed Bublik, who is also still competing in Rome.
Lehecka, 24, made a splash by reaching his maiden ATP Masters 1000 final in Miami, ensuring his rise to World No. 13. Now, after a quarter-final run in the Spanish capital, the Czech is vying for a Top 10 breakthrough at the Foro Italico. Lehecka trails Bublik by 515 points.

Both Cobolli and Lehecka must reach the final to have a chance of breaking into the Top 10. Although players ranked Nos. 4-8 in the PIF ATP Live Rankings have already lost in Rome, No. 9 Daniil Medvedev, No. 10 Bublik and No. 11 Lorenzo Musetti can still add points at the final clay-court ATP Masters 1000 event of the season.
Jannik Sinner has only extended his lead atop the PIF ATP Live Rankings, boasting a whopping 13,750 points after the second round in Rome. The 28-time tour-level titlist is aiming to capture his first trophy at his home Masters 1000 event, where he could also complete the Career Golden Masters, a feat that only Novak Djokovic has achieved.
Approaching the season’s second major, Roland Garros, the race for the fourth seed is heating up, with multiple players still in contention. After the early exits by Ben Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime in Rome, Shelton sits in position to earn the fourth seed (given Carlos Alcaraz's withdrawal from Roland Garros). But Medvedev and Bublik could pass the American by triumphing in Rome.
