Since making his Rome debut in 2007, the No. 4 player in the PIF ATP Rankings Djokovic has tallied a 68-12 record at the tournament, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.
Djokovic, who has competed in Rome 18 times, is a six-time champion on the Foro Italico clay. He lifted the trophy in 2008, 2011, 2014-15, 2020 and 2022.
Djokovic reached the third round in his most recent Rome appearance in 2024, when Alejandro Tabilo upset the then-World No. 1 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory. (Read more & watch highlights).
Djokovic has won six Rome titles. Only his great Lexus ATP Head2Head rival Rafael Nadal, a record 10-time champion, has won more.

Djokovic holds a 295-72 record on clay courts, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, for a winning percentage of 80.4 per cent.
Djokovic will open his Rome campaign against Marton Fucsovics or a qualifier and could face 31st seed Ugo Humbert in the third round. Eighth seed and home favourite Lorenzo Musetti, 11th seed Jiri Lehecka and 13th seed Karen Khachanov are among the players in his quarter. Second seed Alexander Zverev and sixth seed Alex de Minaur are also in the bottom half of the draw.
