As Novak Djokovic continues to chase a record-tying eighth Wimbledon men's singles title, his son Stefan is busy chasing autographs at the grass-court Grand Slam. After Djokovic's 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 fourth-round victory against Alex de Minaur on Monday, the Serbian was asked about the many signatures on the hat Stefan sported in the player's box.
Djokovic said his son's growing autograph collection is down to Stefan's own resourcefulness — with a little help from dad when it came to the No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings.
"It was himself independently of me approaching and asking for autographs," Djokovic said. "I think I might have asked only Jannik [Sinner] or someone, but everyone else he's approached.... He's over the moon. Obviously, he loves tennis."
Stefan is the proud owner of autographs from many of the game's greats on both the men's and women's sides, including Taylor Fritz, Grigor Dimitrov, Aryna Sabalenka and his father's next opponent, Flavio Cobolli. But there's one notable name missing: "He has everyone's signature, except mine," Djokovic said with a smile. "But that's OK, I'll accept that."

Djokovic might also accept some tactical tips from his son ahead of his quarter-final against Cobolli, after the Italian was nice enough to hit with the youngster at the All England Club.
"He even got a chance to play with Cobolli, my next opponent. They hit a few days ago. They played some points," Djokovic said. "Of course, I'll have a conversation with my son and see what he has noticed in the game of Cobolli the other day," he joked.
Djokovic and Cobolli will play on Wednesday for a place in the semi-finals. In their lone previous Lexus ATP Head2Head meeting, Djokovic was a 6-1, 6-2 winner last year at the Rolex Shanghai Masters.
